• 1 1 ⁄ 2 lb sweet potatoes, peeled and cubed
• 2 shallots, quartered
• 2 cloves garlic
• 1 tbsp olive oil
• 1 tsp dried thyme
• 1 ⁄ 2 tsp ground cumin
• 1 ⁄ 2 tsp salt
• 1 ⁄ 4 tsp pepper
• 1 ⁄ 2 cups sour cream
• 3 sliced bacon, cooked, cooled and crumbled
• 2 tbsp toasted chopped pecans
• 2 tbsp chopped chives
