Ingredients

  • 2 tsp. Florida Orange zest
  • ½ cup packed brown sugar
  • ½ cup granulated sugar
  • 1 cup butter, softened
  • 1 egg
  • 2 ¼ cups flour
  • ¾ tsp. baking soda
  • ½ tsp. salt
  • 1 package of 12 oz. white chocolate chips
  • 2 squares of 2 oz. white chocolate to melt and drizzle on top
  • 2 squares of 2 oz. semi-sweet chocolate to melt and drizzle on top
  • Heat oven to 325° F.
  • Grease cookie sheets with butter or cooking spray.
  • In a bowl, combine flour, baking soda and salt.
  • In a separate bowl, mix butter and sugar.
  • Add in egg and Florida Orange zest to butter and sugar mixture.
  • Place mixer on low and slowly add in remaining dry ingredients.
  • Stir in white chocolate chips.
  • Form tablespoon sized balls and place on greased cookie sheet.
  • Bake for 10-12 minutes or until golden brown.
  • Melt white chocolate and semi-sweet chocolate squares in microwave.
  • Drizzle melted white chocolate and semi-sweet chocolate over warm cookies for a sweet touch.
  • Package cookies up in a decorative tin for a tasty gift idea.
  • Try with milk to complete a traditional favorite.
