Ingredients
- 2 tsp. Florida Orange zest
- ½ cup packed brown sugar
- ½ cup granulated sugar
- 1 cup butter, softened
- 1 egg
- 2 ¼ cups flour
- ¾ tsp. baking soda
- ½ tsp. salt
- 1 package of 12 oz. white chocolate chips
- 2 squares of 2 oz. white chocolate to melt and drizzle on top
- 2 squares of 2 oz. semi-sweet chocolate to melt and drizzle on top
- Heat oven to 325° F.
- Grease cookie sheets with butter or cooking spray.
- In a bowl, combine flour, baking soda and salt.
- In a separate bowl, mix butter and sugar.
- Add in egg and Florida Orange zest to butter and sugar mixture.
- Place mixer on low and slowly add in remaining dry ingredients.
- Stir in white chocolate chips.
- Form tablespoon sized balls and place on greased cookie sheet.
- Bake for 10-12 minutes or until golden brown.
- Melt white chocolate and semi-sweet chocolate squares in microwave.
- Drizzle melted white chocolate and semi-sweet chocolate over warm cookies for a sweet touch.
- Package cookies up in a decorative tin for a tasty gift idea.
- Try with milk to complete a traditional favorite.
