Red Velvet Cakes recipe by Aadilah Haffejee

Ingredients

• 2 ½ cups flour
• 1 ½ cups castor sugar
• 1 teaspoon bicarb
• 1 teaspoon cocoa
• 1 teaspoon salt
• 1 cup buttermilk
• 2 eggs
• 1 ½ cup oil
• 1 teaspoon vinegar
• 5 teaspoons crimson red coloring
• 1 teaspoon vanilla
• 1 cup cream cheese
• 250g butter
• 2 cups icing sugar
• 1 teaspoon
