- 1/2 cup (1 stick) salted butter, melted and cooled slightly
- 1 cup brown sugar (light or dark), packed
- 1 large egg
- 1/2 tablespoon pure vanilla extract
- 1 cup all purpose flour
- 1/2 cup chopped dark chocolate chunks
- 1/2 cup chopped milk chocolate chunks
- Optional: sea salt, for sprinkling on bars
