Asian Chicken Wings – Love and Cook

Ingredients

• 1.5 kgs chicken wings (wing tips removed and wings cut into 2 pieces)
• 2 tablespoons fresh ginger grated
• 5 small dried red chillies
• 2 whole star anise
• 1 stick cinnamon
• 1/3 cup Kikkoman soy sauce
• 1/3 cup sake
• 3 tablespoons oyster sauce
• 3 tablespoons mirin
• 3 tablespoons palm sugar ( preferably, but white sugar is fine too)
• 3-4 spring onions (green parts thinly sliced)
