Poulet au Riz - boogomatic

Ingredients

• 2 whole chicken breasts, split in half about 2 lbs. total weight (4 pcs.)
• salt and freshly ground pepper to taste
• 2 tablespoons butter
• 1/2 cup finely chopped onion
• 1 teaspoon chopped garlic
• 1/3 pound fresh mushrooms, left whole if small, otherwise sliced
• 1 bay leaf
• 1/2 cup dry white wine
• 1/2 cup raw rice
• 1 cup chicken broth
