Italian Hangover Cake Recipe

Ingredients

• 2 cups all-purpose flour
• 1 cup granulated sugar
• 1/2 cup unsalted butter, soft and at room temperature
• 3 large eggs
• 1/2 cup milk
• 1/4 cup of orange juice
• 1/4 cup dark rum (optional)
• 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
• 1 teaspoon baking powder
• 1/2 teaspoon baking soda
• 1/4 teaspoon salt
• 1/2 C nuts (we use almonds or walnuts)
• 1/2c mixed dried fruit (raisin, apricot, or figs)
• Juice of 1 lemon
• Juice of 1 orange
