• 2 large eggs, room temperature
• ¾ cup sugar
• ¾ cup all-purpose flour
• ¾ cup corn meal
• ¼ tsp. salt
• 1 tsp. baking powder
• 1 tsp. orange zest
• ½ cup California Olive Ranch extra virgin olive oil
• ½ cup buttermilk
• 1 Tbsp. honey
• 2 Tbsp. sugar
• 1/6 cup Marcona almonds, lightly toasted and chopped
• 1/6 cup regular almonds, sliced and lightly toasted
