Red Velvet Cake - Love of Food

Ingredients

• 2 1⁄2 cups self-rising flour, sifted
• 1 teaspoon baking soda
• 1 1⁄2 cups sugar
• 1 teaspoon cocoa powder
• 1 cup buttermilk
• 1 1⁄2 cups vegetable oil (very important to use vegetable oil)
• 2 large eggs
• 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
• 4 tablespoons (2 ounces) liquid red food coloring
• 1 teaspoon white vinegar
