• 3/4 cup (175 ml) plus 2 tablespoons (30 ml) flour divided
• 3/4 cup (175 ml) cornmeal
• 2 tsps (10 ml) baking powder
• 1 package chili seasoning mix divided
• 3/4 cup (175 ml) milk
• 1 egg
• 6 hot dogs cut in half crosswise
• 3/4 cups (175 ml) frenchs tomato ketchup
• Dash hot sauce, such as franks redhot original cayenne pepper sauce
• Chopped fresh chives optional
