Ingredients

  • Seeraga samba rice: 2 cups
  • Fresh Country chicken: 750 gms
  • Fresh curd: 3 tbsp
  • Coriander leaves: A handful
  • Mint leaves: A handful
  • Shallots: 2 handful (big size)
  • Ginger : 1.5 inch
  • Garlic: 3 large
  • Green chilli: As per your taste
  • Ghee: 3 tspn
  • Oil: 3 tbsp
  • Kashmiri Chilli powder: 1 1/2 tspn
  • Coriander powder: 1 tspn
  • Jeera powder: 1/4 tspn
  • Fresh Lime juice: half a lime
  • Salt: as per taste
  • Star anise: 1
  • Bay leaf: 1
  • Cloves: 5
  • Green cardamom: 7
  • Cinnamon: 1 inch
  • cashew: 10
  • Nutmeg: (just grated and sprinkle lightly)
  • Javitri (Mace): a bit in the size of say a green cardamom
  • Black stone flower (kalpasi/dagad phool): 1 coin sized
