• 1 small onion, minced
• 1 clove garlic, minced and mashed
• 4 eggs, beaten
• 1/4 cup fine dry bread crumbs
• 1/4 teaspoon salt
• 1/8 teaspoon oregano
• 1/8 teaspoon hot liquid pepper sauce
• 2 cups (1/2 pound) grated cheddar, jack or favorite melting cheese
• 2 tablespoons minced parsley
