Pesto has so much flavors and only takes about 5 minutes to create. Very easy made in a food processor, or using a mortar and pestle.

- a little more than a handful of basil leaves
- 1 tablespoon Grana Padano or Parmesan cheese
- 1 tablespoon pine nuts
- 2 garlic cloves
- 1 dl good quality olive oil (0.4 cups)
- pepper and salt to taste
