  • Seasonal & fresh – A great way to use up ripe peaches in peak season.
  • Kid-friendly texture – Soft and moist, easy for babies and toddlers to eat.
  • Naturally egg-free – Perfect for kids with egg allergies or sensitivities.
  • Gluten-free option – Just use certified gluten-free oats.
  • Make-ahead breakfast – This is such an easy breakfast idea, it bakes up beautifully and stores well in the fridge.
  • Customizable – Add walnuts or pecans for older kids and adults or flaxseeds.
  • Oats – High in fiber, iron, and complex carbs to keep little bellies full and energized.
  • Peaches – Rich in vitamin C and A, great for immunity and eye health.
  • Cinnamon – Helps balance blood sugar and adds natural sweetness.
  • Butter or coconut oil – Adds healthy fats essential for brain development.
  • Milk or non-dairy milk – Provides calcium and vitamin D for growing bones.
  • Warm with a dollop of yogurt or a drizzle of maple syrup.
  • Cold as a grab-and-go snack or breakfast bar.
  • Topped with nut butter or sunflower seed butter for extra protein.
  • Add some vanilla ice cream for a healthy dessert.
  • Serve with a side of scrambled eggs or fruit for a balanced breakfast.
  • Oats – Use rolled oats or quick oats if you want it softer.
  • Butter – Swap for melted coconut oil for a dairy-free option.
  • Milk – Use any kind: whole milk, almond milk, oat milk, or coconut milk.
  • Peaches – Fresh, frozen, or canned (in juice, not syrup) all work. You can also use nectarines or white nectarines which is what I had.
  • Sweetener – I used maple syrup but you can replace with date syrup, or mashed banana to the mix for younger babies.
  • Add-ins – Stir in chia seeds, ground flax, shredded coconut, or a sprinkle of chopped nuts for texture and extra nutrients.
  • Refrigerator: Let the oatmeal bake cool completely, then store in an airtight container or cover the baking dish with foil. It will keep in the fridge for up to 4 days .
  • Freezer: Slice into squares and freeze in a freezer-safe container or zip bag with parchment between layers. Reheat in the microwave or oven. Keeps well frozen for up to 2 months .
  • To Reheat: Microwave individual portions for 30–60 seconds, or bake at 350°F (175°C) for about 10 minutes until warmed through.
