Ingredients

• 500 g lean ground beef
• 1 onion, finely chopped
• 1 cup bread crumbs
• 1 egg, lightly beaten
• 2 tbsp liquid, (milk, water, broth or tomato juice)
• 1/2 tsp salt
• 1/4 tsp black pepper
• 1 cup grated carrots, (about 2 medium carrots)
• 2 tbsp parsley, chopped
• 1/4 cup ketchup
• 1/4 cup water
• 2 tsp Worcestershire sauce
