• 1/2 cup beans, cannellini
• 1/2 cup pearl barley
• 2 tablespoons olive oil
• 1 medium onion, diced
• 2 medium carrots, chopped
• 2 cups celery, diced
• 1 medium zucchini, quartered lengthwise and cut into 1/2-inch pieces
• 3/4 cup green beans, cut into 1/2-inch pieces
• 1 russet potato, peeled and cut into 1/2-inch cubes
• 1/2 cup tomato sauce
• 1/2 teaspoon salt (optional)
