- 1 1/2 cups flour
- 8 ounces light brown sugar
- ¾ cup butter
- 3 eggs
- 3 ounces evaporated milk
- ¼ cup bourbon plus ¼ cup for basting cake after baking
- ½ teaspoon baking powder
- ¼ teaspoon salt
- 1 tablespoon vanilla
- Confectioner’s sugar for garnish
