Ingredients

• 1/2 pound smoked kielbasa or smoked Polish sausage, cut into 1/2-inch slices
• 2 tablespoons butter, divided
• 1/2 large head cabbage (2 pounds), coarsely chopped
• 1 medium onion, chopped
• 2 cans (8 ounces each) tomato sauce
• 1/4 cup sugar
• 1 tablespoon paprika
• 2 large potatoes, peeled and cubed
