BEAN RISOTTO WITH BAKED ITALIAN SAUSAGE

Ingredients

• 1 pound Beans
• 1 cup sliced red onions
• 1 cup green peppers
• 2 tablespoons olive oil
• ½ teaspoon rosemary
• ½ teaspoon fresh sage
• ½ teaspoon fresh thyme
• 1½ cups Arborio Rice
• ¼ cup dry white wine
• ½ cup grated Parmesan cheese
• 1 cup sun-dried tomatoes in oil
• 5 cups chicken stock
• ½ cup chopped onions
• ½ cup grated carrots
• ¼ pound chopped raw bacon
• 2 cups drained and chopped canned Italian plum tomatoes
• 12 Italian sausages, hot or sweet or a combination of the two
