- 1 onion, finely chopped
- 250g/9 oz mushrooms, sliced
- ½ tsp salt
- ¼ tsp black pepper
- 1 clove garlic, finely chopped
- 150ml/⅔ cup vegan dry white wine
- 150ml/¾ cup vegan cream
- 1 tsp lemon juice
- 1 tsp syrup (eg maple or agave) or brown sugar (optional)
- 1 tbsp flat leaf parsley, finely chopped
