Hearty beef pasta sauce – HypeFoodie

Ingredients

• 2 pounds lean ground beef
• 1 clove garlic ((minced))
• 1 tablespoon olive oil
• 1 large onion ((coarsely chopped ))
• 2 cloves garlic ((chopped))
• 4 carrots ((peeled and chopped into 1 inch pieces))
• 1 bunch broccoli ((chopped into florets))
• 3 celery stalks ((chopped into 1 inch pieces ))
• 1 cup dried green lentils ((rinsed and drained))
• 2 cans whole tomatoes ((I use the no salt added))
• salt and pepper ((to taste))
• 1 teaspoon dried oregano
• 1 teaspoon dried basil
• 2 bay leaves
• 1 cup water
