Decorated Honey Cookies (Medovníky) recipe - Slovak Cooking

Ingredients

• 4 ¼ cups flour
• 1 cup sugar
• 1 ¼ sticks of unsalted butter
• 3 ½ tablespoons of honey
• a little less than ½ cup of water
• 1 teaspoon baking soda
• 1 teaspoon baking powder
• 1 teaspoon salt
• 1 ½ tablespoons cinnamon
• ½ tablespoon ginger
• ½ tablespoon cloves
• 1 teaspoon cardamom (optional)
