• 2/3 cup brown sugar
• 1/4 cup Karo^® Dark OR Light Corn Syrup
• 3 tablespoons butter OR margarine
• 2 large OR 3 medium baking apples, cored, peeled and thinly sliced
• 1/2 cup toffee baking bits (not chocolate coated)*
• CAKE;
• 1-1/3 cups apple cider OR 2/3 cup frozen apple juice concentrate, thawed
• 1/4 cup butter OR margarine, softened
• 1/2 cup sugar
• 2 eggs
• 1 teaspoon pure vanilla extract
• 1-3/4 cups all-purpose flour
• 1-1/4 teaspoons Argo^® Baking Powder
• 3/4 teaspoon ground cinnamon
• 1/4 teaspoon salt
