~ Iced Lemon Drop Cookies ~ | Just A Pinch Recipes

Ingredients

• 1 1/4 cup(s) sugar
• 1 cup(s) shortening
• 1/2 teaspoon(s) salt
• yellow - food coloring, i added about 7 drops
• 1 - egg
• 1 cup(s) sour milk or buttermilk ( i used buttermilk )
• 1 teaspoon(s) baking soda
• 2 teaspoon(s) lemon extract - i used 2 1/2
• 3 - 4 cup(s) flour - i used about 3 1/2 cups
• ## MY LEMON GLAZE
• 1 tablespoon(s) softened butter
• 3 1/2 cup(s) confectioner's sugar
• 1 - lemon, juiced and the zezt of the lemon
• if needs - more thinning, i add a little milk or cream
