Hot Buttered Rum | Faxo

Ingredients

• Batter:
• 2/3 c. brown sugar
• 1/2 c. (1 stick) unsalted butter
• 1/4 c. honey
• 1 t. ground cinnamon
• 1/2 t. ground nutmeg (freshly ground is best)
• 1/4 t. ground cloves
• pinch of salt
• 1 t. vanilla extract
• For Each Cocktail:
• 2/3 c. hot water
• 2 T. (1 oz.) batter, plus more to taste
• 2 oz. dark rum
• sweetened whipped cream, ground nutmeg and cinnamon sticks, for garnish
