- ¼ teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1¾ pounds of Concord grapes, rinsed, dried on paper towels, stems/leaves removed (about 4 cups)
- ½ cup granulated sugar
- 3-4 tablespoons dark brown sugar
- pinch salt
- 2½ tablespoons cornstarch
- 1 tablespoon fresh lemon juice
- 1 tablespoon unsalted butter
