• 2/3 cup sugar
• 1/2 cup milk (or buttermilk)

• 3 tbsp water
• 1 tbsp baking powder
• 1 tsp cinnamon
• and 1 1/2 cups ground walnuts and hazelnuts
• # For the syrup:
• 1 and 1/2 cup sugar
• 2 cup water
• 1 vanilla and a pinch of citric acid
• # For caramelized fruit:
• 2 apples
• 2 pears
• 1/2 cup sugar
