• 1/2 cup brandy, plus extra for soaking
• 1 cup unsalted butter, softened
• 1 cup brown sugar
• 4 large eggs
• 2 cups all-purpose flour
• 1 tsp baking powder
• 1 tsp ground cinnamon
• 1/2 tsp ground nutmeg
• 1/2 tsp ground cloves
• Zest of 1 orange
• 1 cup marzipan
• 2.2 lbs ready-made white icing
• Food coloring (red, green)
