• 4 large eggs
• 1/4 tsp. ground cinnamon
• 1/8 tsp. ground nutmeg
• 1/2 tsp. pure vanilla extract
• 1/8 tsp. salt
• 8 slices French bread, sliced 3/4 inch thick
• 1 c dark brown sugar
• 1/3 c granulated sugar
• 2 tbsp. all-purpose flour
• 1/4 c maple syrup, plus additional for topping
• 3/4 c pecans, chopped
• Confectioners’ sugar for topping
