Ingredients

• 1 stick of butter
• 6 ounces bittersweet chocolate, broken up into pieces (I used Lindt)
• 2 cups of flour
• 1 teaspoon of baking powder
• 1/4 teaspoon of cayenne pepper
• 1/2 teaspoon of salt
• 1 3/4 cups of white sugar
• 4 eggs
• 1 tablespoon of vanilla extract
• 1 1/4 cups solid-pack pumpkin (I used a whole 14 ounce can)
• 1/4 cup of vegetable oil
• 1 teaspoon of ground cinnamon
• 1/4 teaspoon of ground nutmeg
