• 1 medium onion, chopped
• 1 pound of sausage, ground
• 6 ounces of tomato paste
• 16 ounces of tomato sauce
• 1 pound of ground beef
• 1/2 teaspoon of minced garlic
• 2/3 cup of Mozzarella, set aside in portions
• 1/2 cup Parmesan cheese, split in two
• 7 ounces of spaghetti, uncooked
• 1 teaspoon plus a dash of salt
• 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
• 1 tablespoon of Italian herbs
