- 250g/1 metric up caster sugar
- 1 tablespoon almond essence (optional)
- 6 tablespoons lemon juice
- 300g plain flour
- 3 teaspoons baking powder
- 250ml/1 metric cup plain yoghurt
- 125g unsalted butter, melted
- 100g flaked almonds
- 60ml lemon juice
- 150g sugar
- 100ml honey
