Sweet potato corn bread recipe

Ingredients

• 2 sweet potatoes, about 1 lb total weight
• 1 cup fine-grind yellow cornmeal
• 1 cup unbleached all-purpose flour
• 1 tablespoon sugar
• 1 tablespoon baking powder
• 1/2 teaspoon baking soda
• 1teaspoon salt
• pinch of ground allspice
• pinch of ground cinnamon
• 1 1/4 cups buttermilk
• 2 large eggs, lightly beaten
• 3 tablespoons unsalted butter, melted
