Brownie Cupcakes with Peppermint Cream Cheese Frosting - Cupcake Fanatic

Ingredients

• 1/2 cup unsalted butter
• 1 1/4 cup white sugar
• 2 eggs
• 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
• 1/3 cup unsweetened cocoa powder
• 1/2 cup all-purpose flour
• 1/4 teaspoon salt
• 1/4 teaspoon baking powder
• 4 tablespoons unsalted butter, softened
• 4 ounces cream cheese, softened
• 1 teaspoon peppermint extract
• 2 1/2 cups confectioner’s sugar
• Green food coloring (I used about 3 drops for a beautiful pastel green.)
