Fancy Ketchup - CookingHub

Ingredients

• 2 TBSP of frying oil (any kind) (adjust if needed)
• ½ onion - peeled and finely chopped
• ½ cup of brown sugar
• 1 cup of water
• 2 LB of Roma tomatoes
• ¼ cup of apple cider vinegar
• 2 TBSP of Extra Virgin Olive Oil
• 2 TSP of ground smoked paprika
• ¼ TSP of ground cayenne pepper
• 2 TSP of mustard seeds (or 2 TBSP of yellow mustard)
• ¼ TSP of cloves
• ¼ TSP of cinnamon
• 3 cloves of garlic - peeled and grated (or pressed)
• ¼ TSP of salt
• ¼ TSP of pepper - ideally freshly ground
• 1x Measuring Cups
• 1x Measuring Spoons
• 1x Chef’s knife
• 1x Cutting Board
• 1x Medium Sauce Pan or Small Pot (4QT)
• 1x Wooden Spoon or High-Temperature Silicone Spatula
• 1x Immersion Blender or Food Processor or Blender
