- 2tspns mixed spice
- 1tspn nutmeg
- 100g brown sugar
- 1/3 cup brandy
- 3 pears, peeled and cored
- 2 firm apples, peeled and cored
- 200g salted butter melted
- 80g fresh breadcrumbs
- 2tblspn plain flour
- 1 sheet Careme Butter Puff Pastry, defrosted
- 160g castor sugar
- 1 egg yolk for egg wash, lightly whisked
- Toasted flaked almonds and icing sugar to serve.
