Corn Chowder Recipe

Ingredients

• 2 tablespoons unsalted butter
• 1 cup diced onion
• 3 cloves minced garlic
• 2 tablespoons all purpose flour
• 32 ounces corn (frozen or canned) approximately 7 cups fresh corn which is 9 ears of corn
• 1 pound gold potatoes diced 1/2 inch cubes
• 2 teaspoons salt
• 1/4 teaspoon ground black pepper
• 1/4 teaspoon paprika
• 4 cups unsalted chicken stock
• 1 cup half and half (or milk of preference)
• 1 pound ham diced into 1/2 inch cubes
