Ingredients

• approximately 1 cup agave syrup
• 1/2 cup – canola oil
• 1/2 cup – apple sauce (sweetened or unsweetened)
• 2 – large eggs, lightly beaten
• 2 cups – whole wheat flour
• 1 teaspoon – baking soda
• 1 tablespoon – ground ginger
• 1 teaspoon – cinnamon
• 1/4 teaspoon – ground cloves
• 1/2 teaspoon – salt
• 1/3 cup – buttermilk
