- 8–16 ounces cream cheese, softened
- 1 loaf French bread, cut into 1-inch slices (or Texas toast)
- 1 cup blueberries (optional)
- 12 large eggs
- 3 cups milk
- 3/4 cup real maple syrup (or 1 cup of the fake stuff)
- 2 teaspoons vanilla extract
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 teaspoon ground cinnamon
- 1/4 teaspoon ground nutmeg
