• 1 kg Diced Beef Chuck Steak
• 100gm Piece of Smoked Kassler
• 1 Large Brown Onion, chopped
• 3 Cloves Garlic, chopped
• 1 (400gm) Tin Chopped Tomatoes
• 2 Anchovies (optional)
• 1 ½ Cups Red Wine
• 1 ½ Cups Beef Stock
• 1 tbls Worcestershire Sauce
• 2 Bay Leaves
• 8 Sprigs of Thyme
• Olive Oil
• 2 tbls Butter or Ghee
• Plain Flour
• Sea Salt
• Black pepper
