Ingredients

• 1 tsp extra-virgin olive oil
• 1/4 brown onion (diced)
• 1 clove garlic
• 100 g beef steak (porterhouse, cut into 1-inch cubes)
• 1/2 carrot (sliced)
• 1/2 stalk celery (sliced)
• 1/2 cup diced tomatoes (canned)
• 1 cup beef stock ((or bone broth if you have it))
• 1/4 cup McKenzie's Whole Green Lentils (rinsed)
• Salt and pepper (to taste)
