• 250 g Self raising flour

• 0.5 tsp Salt
• 150 g Ground almonds
• 50 g Unsalted butter
• 50 g Caster sugar
• 100 g Lyle’s Golden Syrup
• 2 tbsp Double cream
• 120 g Flaked almonds, roughly chopped
• 480 ml Whole milk
• 1 tsp Vanilla extract
• 6 Large egg yolk
• 150 g Tate & Lyle Granulated Sugar
• 40 g Cornstarch
• 1 tbsp Unsalted butter
