Ingredients

• ½ c butter
• 1 leek, sliced – separate layers and wash thoroughly
• 1 ½ t cornstarch
• 2 cups chicken broth
• 2 c potatoes, peeled and medium diced
• 1 c heavy cream
• salt and pepper to taste
