• 1 lb ground beef ground turkey or venison would work, too
• 1 small onion, chopped
• salt to taste
• pepper to taste
• 1/3 cup ketchup
• 2 cups flour
• 1/4 cup shortening
• 3/4 cup milk
• 2 tbsp butter
• 2 tbsp flour
• 1/4 tsp salt
• dash pepper
• 1 cup milk
• 1/4-1/2 cup shredded cheddar cheese (or more ?)
