Pesto Mozzarella Burgers - Sutter Home Family Vineyards

Ingredients

• 2 cups fresh basil leaves
• 3 tbs pine nuts
• 2 cloves fresh garlic, crushed
• 1/2 tsp coarse salt
• 1/4 tsp fresh ground black pepper
• 4 tbs Colavita olive oil
• 1/2 cup Parmigiano-Reggiano cheese, freshly greated
• 2 lbs ground chuck
• 2 tbs chopped fresh flat leaf parsley
• 1 small onion, finely chopped
• 4 oz mozzarella cheese, cut into 6 portions
• 2 tbs Colavita olive oil, for brushing grill
• Loaf Italian bread – cut into 6 4" pieces and halved
