Nutty Spelt Waffles – East Van Jam

Ingredients

• 2C + 4 Tbs all purpose spelt flour (must be sifted)
• 2 Tbs sugar
• 1 tsp baking powder
• 1/2 tsp salt
• 2C almond milk
• 6 Tbs sunflower oil or melted butter, cooled
• 2 large eggs
• 1/2 C finely chopped nuts (walnuts, pecans, almonds or hazelnuts)
