• 15oz can beef broth
• 1 teaspoon dried basil
• 6 slices provolone cheese
• 1/2 teaspoon ground black pepper
• 8oz Giardiniera, drained
• 1 teaspoon salt
• additional pepperoncini slices
• additional Giardiniera
• 3lb chuck roast, trimmed of visible fat and cut into large chunks
• 8oz pepperoncini slices + splash of juice
