Onion Bhaji –
A simple spin on the Indian classic! This onion bhaji recipe is easy to make, the perfect accompanyment to your favourite curry!
Ingredients
- 1 finely sliced onion
- 100g flour
- 1/2 tsp turmeric
- 1/2 tsp chilli powder
- 1/2 tsp baking powder
- 100ml water
- To taste salt and pepper
- 3.5oz flour
- 1/2tsp chilli powder
- 1/2tsp baking powder
- 3.5oz water
- Fridge
- Step 1 Mix all the dry ingredients in a bowl
- Step 2 Slowly add the water until it’s a thick smooth consistency
- Step 3 Place in the fridge for around 1 hour
- Step 4 Thinly chop the onions into slices and soak in cold water
- Step 5 Once the hour is up, drain the onions well, add to the mixture and mix
- Step 6 Take enough onions to make a ball that fits in the palm of your hands and put into the Cook & Crisp basket of the Ninja Foodi Multi-Cooker
- Step 7 Set the Ninja Foodi Multi-Cooker to the air crisp setting at 200 degrees and cook for 8-10 minutes depending on how crispy you like them
- Step 8 Enjoy
