• 2 TBSP offrying oil (any kind) (adjust if needed)
• 1onion - peeled and chopped
• 2potatoes - peeled and chopped (medium size)
• 2carrots - peeled and chopped (medium size)

• 6 cups offish broth/stock (or chicken or vegetable broth/stock **)
• 1 TBSP ofdried parsley (or ¼ cup of fresh, chopped)
• 2bay leaves
• ½ TSP ofground allspice
• 1 cup ofheavy cream
• 1 clove ofgarlic - peeled and grated (or pressed)
• ¼ TSP ofground nutmeg
• ¾ TSP ofsalt
• ½ TSP ofground black pepper
• ½ cup ofpeas - fresh or frozen – no defrosting necessary before cooking
