Ingredients

• 3 pounds beef, cut to large pieces
• 4 tablespoons flour
• 3 pounds onion chopped coarsely
• 4 large carrots peeled and chopped coarsely
• 5-6 garlic cloves peeled and crashed
• 2 tablespoons sugar
• 1 tablespoon vinegar
• salt and pepper
• oil
• 2-3 cans beer
